Plandaí Biotechnology, Inc. is a USA-based company listed on the OTCQB under the symbol “PLPL.” Plandaí is a USA based company with worldwide offices located in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Uruguay and North America.

Plandai believes that the phytoavailability™ of its Phytofare™ deep-released™ phytonutrient products is a turning point for world healthcare.  With this phytoavailability™, Plandaí sees a future of natural-complex pharmaceutical medicines and nutraceuticals from the vast array of botanicals.  These medicines and nutraceuticals will be effectively delivered, without side effects, with retained efficacies, and will be cost effective for the end-user.

In 2011, Plandaí, entered into a 49-year notarial lease on an 8,000 acre agricultural estate in the Mpumalanga province of northern South Africa.

Our production facility is on the estate sized for all 8,000 acres with ready access to plant material, thus eliminating delay between harvests and processing that would otherwise severely degrade quality.

Currently 1,000 acres are in green tea for Plandai’s first product: Phytofare™ catechin complex being sold in industrial-sized lots for sports and health via USN Worldwide ingredient sales.  Soon more of the 8,000 acres will be covered with tea bushes.  In addition to ingredient sales for business-to-business, sales of finished product via direct marking and internet is being developed for metabolic syndrome and health enthusiast demographics.

Plandai’s approach was recently put to the test. North-West University, Pharmacology, South Africa confirmed results May 2015 in a human clinical study on Phytofare™ catechin complex.  The results describe phytoavailability™ and include:

  1. Ultra-high™ bioavailability. Dramatically higher phytonutrient blood levels compared to generic.
  2. Full complement™ phytonutrient components.  All eight catechins naturally present in green tea were substantially present in the blood verses one or two with generic.
  3. Ultra-long™ blood durations.  All eight catechins remained in the blood at therapeutic levels after 24 hours compared with generic’s less than six hours with just one or two.
